The Degree Course in Economics and Management also aims at providing the tools to develop the ability to critically evaluate the theoretical models discussed in the single courses, to detect processes and interpret the data and the economic information, both with regard to the economic system as a whole and to the financial situation of companies, demonstrating the ability to establish links among the different disciplines, approaches and methodologiesIn order to achieve this objective, the student will be given the opportunity to participate in group works, seminars and tutorials. In addition, an access to economic statistics and legal databases of the Department will be guaranteed. The autonomy of judgment achieved by the students will be verified through written and oral examinations, class and office hours discussions, the results of internships carried out during the degree program and the writing of the final dissertation.

The Degree Course in Economics and Management aims to provide adequate skills and tools for an effective communication of information, both to specialists and non-specialists of the matter, through the acquisition and consolidation of business, mathematical-statistical and legal vocabulary. For this purpose, students are called, during classes, to organize presentations with a multimedia support. The study of a foreign language will be specifically dedicated to the acquisition of technical and scientific terminology of business courses. Finally, the training experience abroad through the Erasmus project will provide the opportunity to consolidate their language skills and to compare their course of studies with similar international situations.
The Department of Economics recognizes the importance that graduates develop a sufficient level of autonomy in the ability to operate and, at the same time, that they acquire the aptitude to work in team. For this reason, the BA includes the acquisition of a proper knowledge of the organizational culture in business contexts.

Graduates must have developed an autonomous learning ability, a capability of individual analysis and processing thanks to the study of advanced specific texts. All this is related to their future professional career or to the decision to start a Master Course in business and economic fields.
In addition, graduates must have acquired skills to upgrade their knowledge and skills in various disciplines of the Bachelor of science. The proof of the learning capabilities will be systematically implemented during the examinations and tests and especially at the time of writing and defending the final thesis by applying the evaluation criteria specified in the section about the content and objectives of the final dissertation.
