Required: adequate knowledge of Italian, basic knowledge of periodontal treatments. of the treatment of dental hypersensitivity and the principles of general psychology. Basic knowledge of a calculation program (EXCEL) There are no preliminary requirements
The assessment of learning will be conducted through a multiple choice written test, the preparation of a project and the discussion of a clinical case. In addition to the correctness of the papers, the teachers will evaluate the degree of depth of the content and the use of a correct medical / scientific language.
Single final grade for the integrated course
The course aims to provide students with the knowledge and manual skills necessary for daily practice to obtain and maintain oral health by applying the several innovative technologies in the head of oral hygiene. It also intends to provide the cognitive tools and the general concepts of pedagogy
necessary for the understanding of diversified means and methods of intervention, according to the different clinical pictures of adult or child patients.
Another objective of the course is to give Dental Hygienists the knowledge of the dynamics of managing their professional life in a dental practice and towards patients by establishing an appropriate communicative-relational relationship
