The training activity aims to provide students with knowledge about the obligations of businesses in the context of offering products and services in retail markets. In particular, the training activity aims to provide students with the appropriate tools to recognize, on the one hand, when business practices would involve commercial unfairness and, on the other hand, which terms would be prohibited in standard contracts. Therefore, this activity aims to prepare students for legal advice about the obligations that businesses must meet in their relations with consumers and, more generally, with users of goods and services provided on the market.

The training activity will focus on the rules on unfair commercial practices and standard contracts, with special regard, in both cases, to the enforcement issues that will be examined in relation to the most relevant decisions of the Competition and Market Authority and the main national and European case law. With regard to consumer contracts, special attention will be paid to aspects relating to unfair terms, the right of withdrawal and the non-conformity of goods.

Frontal teaching with the analyis of paradigmatic case law.
