Students are required to have a good knowledge of the institutional aspects and legislative procedures of the European Union's legal system
Oral examination with the possibility for attending students to take assessment tests during the course of the lectures
The course aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the characteristic elements of the numerous policies attributed to the responsibilities of the European Union
After an illustration of the four fundamental freedoms on which the European Union is founded, the course is devoted to an in-depth examination of the main policies attributed to the European Union's competences, with particular attention devoted to competition policy, environmental policy, industrial policy and health policy
The Customs Union, the free movement of persons, goods, services and capital. The right of establishment, monetary policy, competition policy, environment policy, industrial policy, structural funds, health policy, social cohesion policy
Lectures accompanied by the examination of practical cases through the analysis of Court of Justice rulings
At the beginning of each lesson, introductory remarks will be devoted to topical issues related to press reports on the implementation of EU policies
