PHARMACOLOGY - CO
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY is structured in a total of 30 hours covering the mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic indications, adverse effects and interactions of the following classes of drugs:
-Anti-inflammatory drugs (4 hours);
-Central nervous system active drugs (opioid analgesics, local and general anaesthetics, sedative-hypnotics) (8 hours);
-Pharmacology of the autonomic nervous system (8 hours);
-Drugs acting on the blood (2 hours);
-Antibiotic and antiviral chemotherapy (4 hours);
-Pharmaceuticals acting on the gastrointestinal system (4 hours)
Frontal lessons.
Classroom activities include the projection of ppt files set up with images and diagrams. Clinical and topical cases will be presented during the lesson
