The basic objective of the course is to know and be able to deal with clinical emergency conditions. The knowledge to be acquired consists of knowing how to recognize, how to monitor and how to manage various critical clinical conditions that can be life-threatening in first aid. The skills to be acquired by the student are: 1. to know how to navigate the initial approach management of polytrauma and shock, acute respiratory failure, 2. to know how to handle basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation, 3. to know the basic elements of the organization of disaster relief for the safety and health of surviving victims and rescuers.
