EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
The course introduces to the use of personal computers.

EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS
At the end of the course the student must be able to:
1. Communicate and inform using IT tools
2. Manage files
3. Use simple editing tools
4. Process texts
5. Creation of presentations
6. Creation of spreadsheets

Fundamental concepts regarding Information Technology, the structure and operation of a personal computer, computer networks, the impact on society and everyday life.

Computer use and file management, the main basic functions of a personal computer and its operating system, the use of simple editing tools and printing options.

Word processing: creation and formatting of a document, creation of tables, insertion of images in a document.

Presentation tools: creation presentations for different types of audiences and situations.

Spreadsheets: creation of spreadsheets, use of the main functions, creation of graphs.

Convenzionale

Classroom lessons supported by the presentation of slides (for the introduction on the fundamental concepts of the course) and exercises (for the practical demonstration of the functions of the editing programs). All of the material will be provided to students via Elearning platform.
