PHARMACOLOGY - CO
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY course is structured in 30 hours of frontal lessons concerning the mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic indications, adverse effects and interactions of the following drug classes:
1) Anti-inflammatory and pain control drugs;
2) Drugs active at the central nervous system;
3) Pharmacology of the autonomic nervous system;
4) Cardiovascular pharmacology;
5) Antineoplastic chemotherapy drugs;
6) Drugs that act on the blood;
7) Antibiotic and antiviral chemotherapy;
8) Drugs active on the gastrointestinal tract.
Frontal lessons entirely given by the teacher and supported by ppt. Active participation in the contents by students is required for the notions of physiology, pathology and anatomy to support the pharmacological mechanisms involved
