Oral interview is aimed at ascertaining the acquisition of knowledge acquired on the topics covered by the course, the capacity for argumentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to re-elaborate the issues addressed in a critical-reflective way.
The course aims to focus on the intercultural pedagogy approach and educational issues related to multicultural contexts. The aim is to understand the complexity of heterogeneous and multicultural social contexts and to offer theoretical and methodological tools to critically reflect on the processes of social inclusion. Furthermore, the course aims to understand the role of cultural variability in learning processes to promote skills that allow you to act responsibly in formal and informal educational contexts.
The main themes of the lessons will be the following:
- General Pedagogy and Intercultural Pedagogy
- Interculture: problems and concepts
- Didactics and Intercultural Pedagogy
- Image of foreigners in educational contexts (building differences, relationship between parents and teachers, bilingualism and multilingualism)
- Educational approaches and methods in the perspective of intercultural pedagogy (intercultural theories and practices in school, the role of educational institutions)
- Intercultural competences in educational work.
Classroom lectures, with the help of multimedia materials and moments of discussion aimed at promoting the active involvement of students.
