MAXILLO-FACIAL SURGERY:
Acquisition of the basics of Maxillofacial Surgery, Head-Neck and craniofacial pathologies.
Anatomy and physiology. Clinical and instrumental semiotics.
Diagnosis and treatment of Cranio-Facial traumatology. Diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant neoplastic pathologies of the minor and major salivary glands. Diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant neoplasms of the oral cavity and craniofacial. Diagnosis and surgical treatment of dentoskeletal dysmorphosis and craniofacial malformations. Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic facial paralysis and reconstruction of the facial nerve. Treatment of nerve lesions of the oral cavity. Instrumental diagnosis and surgical treatment of Graves-Basedow orbitopathy and orbito-palpebral pathologies. Basics of reconstructive microsurgery of the oral cavity and head-neck. Demolitive and reconstructive surgical treatment of neoplastic pathologies of the nose and ear. Treatment of severe atrophy of the maxilla and mandible and basics of advanced oral surgery. Basics of advanced dermatological surgery of the head and neck. Clinical and research activity in Maxillofacial: principles and practice. Clinical cases.

The course on Dentistry and Oral Medicine will be held through a Lecture series that will expose all the topics included in the program. Several case reports and clinical pictures will be shown to introduce each pathological entity described in the course. The didactic material will be uploaded on the E-learning platform by the end of the course to allow students to access the slides and prepare their examination.
