At the end of the integrated course participants will have to demonstrate that they are able to:

Know the guiding principles of the research methodology
Understanding the relationship between theory and practice and between naive and scientific theories
Knowing and experimenting with the procedure for the formulation of a research design for the understanding of educational action.
Understanding of the relationship between legal system and deviance. Learning of the historical development of the main criminological theories. Exploration of the dimension of deviance in some specific areas.
The course aims to analyze the main sociological approaches to the study of culture and the most relevant processes and challenges of cultural modernity. Central object of the course is the idea of culture as an important dimension of the action and of social life in a cross-cultural perspective to educational practice.
