AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENT WILL KNOW:
- IDENTIFY INFORMATION AND EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE, FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY TO PROMOTE THE ADOPTION OF HEALTHY LIFESTYLES;
- USE HEALTH EDUCATION METHODS AND TOOLS APPROPRIATE TO THE NEEDS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF PEOPLE AND GROUPS;
- EVALUATE THE RESULTS OF THE INTERVENTIONS MADE
1. Health promotion and disease prevention;
2. the concept of Membership in the context of health promotion and prevention of
disease;
3. promotion of membership within the ICNP language;
4. theories and reference models to promote membership;
5. methods and tools to promote adherence to healthy lifestyles and the treatment path;
6. the production of information material for the patient and the care giver;
7. the planning of a health education intervention;
8. methods and tools for health education;
9. Life Skills, Self-care and Self-efficacy;
10. Counseling in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases;
11. The figure of the case manager in promoting adherence to the treatment path;
12. the main actions and interventions present in the ICNP® that can be adopted in situations
risk and / or alteration of biophysiological processes, defense and protection, development e
adaptation, learning (self-care and self-efficacy).
