Requirements: 

Students are requested to know speed’s, jump’s, throw’s methods and coordination skills at the basic level at least.
About culture they must know pedagogical and storical fundamentals that allow to learn discipline contents.

The exams is about the entire course. It’s divided into two parts.
Pratical exam: It’s about disciplines we have analysed during the course, in particoular:
-speed 60 meters
- steeplechase 60 meters
-high jump
-long jump
-weight throwing
-javelin throwing
In every discipline the highest score is 5 points, teachers judjes through charts, they are different for boys and girls. The student can choose to do not one discipline, teacher will consider the best five performances. The highest score is 25 that is reported in 15ths.
SO 15 IS THE HIGHEST SCORE FOR PRACTISE.
Written exam: There are 15 questions (3 open questions, 12 multiple-choice questions). Students have 1 hour to answer.
Questions are about curriculum and test student’s knowledge and comprehension.
15 IS THE HIGHEST SCORE FOR THE WRITTEN EXAM.
If a student would do a very good exam, he/she can gain a better score in the written part.
For the students that have done a very detailed test and a very good practice is expected the honor.

To develop coordination and motor skills through Athletics.
Starting from the student’s knowledge of motor tactic and coordination ability, we’ll improve them through learning basic technical rudiments of Athletics.
The course will develop teaching knowledge to work in real situation with self-confidence, in fact during lessons we’ll do gradual exercises in Athletichs’ different fields; in particoular in sprint, steeplechase, high and long jump, weight throwing and javelin throwing.
During theoretical lessons students will learn general aspects and rules of Athletics. We guide them to gestures’ and movements’ analysis.

Theory : athletics events : categories and rules. Knowledge of basic elements of physiology of training and differences between training of young and advanced athletes. Technical model of specialities and simples biomechanical considerations.
Practical lessons: technical and physical systems of training. Didactics and methodology of teaching and training in athletic events. Speed: didactic and technique of acceleration, use of starting blocks, technique of relay race. Hurdles: didactics and technical exercises. Jumps: High and long Jump: technique and didactics. Outlines about pole vault and triple jump. Technique and didactics of basic jumping exercises. Throws: knowledge of basic elements of shot put and javelin throw. Outlines of discus and hammer.

Didactic activities are diveded into two ways:
-frontal lessons in class with the support of videos, slides and teacher’s comment that underlines some important passages, concerning tecnical and didactic skills. Some detailed study about the organisation of a basic athletics’ training.
-pratical lessons. We’ll show and do gradual excercises on the most important disciplines of athletics like: sprint, steeplechase, relay, high and long jump, weight throwing and javelin throwing.
