In March 2004 he obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the Faculty of Science of University of Insubria (Varese, Italy). In October 2008 he achieved the Master’s Degree in Biology in the same University. In December 2008 he obtained the state qualification to practise the profession of biologist. In March 2009 he obtained a eight-month grant on “Monitoring and removal of drug residues in wastewater” at Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of DASS at the University of Insubria (Varese). In November 2009 he started a PhD project in Biotecnology at Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences (DBSV) of the same University. In November 2012 he got the PhD degree with a thesis titled “Physiological and molecular analysis of the effects of three emerging classes of pollutants on photosynthetic organisms”. From December 2012 until May 2013 he worked as a laboratory technician (Cat. C1) at Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of DBSF at the University of Insubria (Varese). He worked as freelance biologist conducing research and development for biotechnology companies until April 2016 when he obtained a six-month grant at Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of DBSV at the University of Insubria (Varese). In September 2017 he became researcher (co.co.co) at the CARLO BESTA Neurological Institute of Milano. In August 2019 he returns at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of the University of Insubria (Varese) winning a post-doc fellowship for the research “Contribution of cell signaling mediated by cAMP in the response to heat stress in plants”.
