Mathematical Analysis
Equations and inequalities, powers, radicals, trigonometry. Polynomials and their quotient. Plane geometry (straight lines, parabolas).
Course Objectives and Expected Outcomes:
Knowledge of theory and applications of basic calculus techniques
Evaluation procedure:
written and oral exam (to be eligible for the oral part, a student must get at least 15 over 30 points in the written part)
Numerical sequences and series, real functions and continuity, limits of functions, differential calculus, Taylor expansion, integrals, several variables functions, partial derivatives, gradient, tangent plane, maxima and minima, Lagrange multipliers.
