B2 CEFR
The final exam is written and consists of 50 questions (multiple choice) aimed at assessing the student's level of preparation related to the course syllabus.
The student will have to obtain "Pass" (at least 30 correct answers are required).
The course is aimed at reinforcing the students' knowledge of the basic English grammar rules and building up their technical vocabulary in order to read and translate scientific texts related to dentistry.
Revision of the basic structures of the English Grammar.
Knowledge of the most common terms related to the dentist's job and dental disciplines.
Grammar:present tenses-
adverbs of frequency- future tenses- conditionals-past tenses- modals- passive form-quantifiers- relative clauses- countable and uncountable nouns- the article-indirect speech.
Vocabulary: Dentistry: disciplines and people concerned-the dental office and its equipment- the human tooth- deciduous and permanent dentition- dental prostheses and orthodontic appliances.
Frontal class (36 hours)
