LABORATORY: PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR SOCIAL MARKETING AND PUBLIC HEALTH

Active participation in the course and workshops is an essential requirement for the final allocation of course credits (CFU)
The workshop is designed to build knowledge, skills, and competencies essential for developing an effective communication strategy on key public health issues. It places a strong emphasis on cognitive, behavioral, and social outcomes, drawing from rigorous methods and theoretical frameworks.
In particular, the workshop highlights the importance of participatory, people-centered approaches in social marketing and health communication efforts, stressing the value of active stakeholder engagement and the empowerment of target audiences

- Stakeholder engagement and empowerment of target audiences
- Analysis of social, cultural, and contextual factors for effective public health communication
- Linguistic aspects for clear and impactful communication
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of a communication intervention
The workshop will consist of a series of hands-on sessions where students will develop a communication strategy to raise awareness on a topic assigned during the first class.
Working in groups, students will create a practical proposal and a set of key recommendations for effective communication tailored to the suggested target audience. Each proposal will then receive feedback from peers, the course instructor, and external experts, who will provide insights through brief interventions during the workshop
