PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
1. History and Fundamentals:
Historical development of the profession, relevant legal framework, core competencies, and the professional context of the Cardiopulmonary Circulation and Perfusion Technician (TFCPC).
2. Regulatory Framework:
Analysis of healthcare legislation and the evolution of the professional role within the Italian National Health System.
3. Professional Identity:
The TSRM-PSTRP Professional Board and the process of constructing and consolidating the professional identity of the technician.
4. Professional Responsibility:
Professional duties, accountability, ethical obligations, and the requirement for continuing education and professional development.
5. Ethics and Deontology:
The TFCPC Code of Ethics: ethical principles, professional conduct, and moral responsibilities within clinical practice.
6. Final Synthesis:
Comprehensive review, integration of key topics, and final discussion of the main theoretical and practical aspects covered throughout the course.
Lectures supported by slide presentations; reading and critical discussion of documents in class.
