Requirements: 

There are no prerequisites to pass the Neuropsychology and Neurolinguistics exam but it will be completed and evaluated as complementary to the course of Clinical Psychology.
From a technical point of view, it is required the knowledge of a technical language that demonstrates the knowledge of some basic terms of acts to demonstrate their adherence to the course.

The exam is aimed at evaluating reasoning skills and ability to approach the patient on the topics covered in the course, as well as language properties.
Being third-year students, the evaluation criteria include the ability to identify the cognitive problems associated with the motor problem of each patient both during the acute and stabilized phase of the neurological patient. The exam takes place in oral form with related questions. the themes developed during the lessons and a practical part aimed at recognizing some elementary tests that can be administered to the patient. The test includes an assessment at the same time as the other teachers of the course. All the questions have the same weight and the answers are evaluated in thirtieths. The final mark of the test is given by the simple average of the marks obtained in the individual questions. Finally, the Chairman of the commission is informed of the vote

The course of NEUROPSYCHOLOGY AND NEUROLINGUISTICS is an integrated course on Psychology, Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Methodology of the Degree in Physiotherapy. It fits with the neuropsychological and neurolinguistic Rehabilitation course of the third year in the first semester. The course is divided into an introductory part on Neuropsychology and the theories behind it, a part dedicated to the concept of verbal and non-verbal communication and a part dedicated to the anatomical sites of language and their functioning, finally a presentation of some acquired pathologies of the adult as aphasia neglect apraxia, agnosia.

Definition of neuropsychology with historical references of the main neuropsychological theories.
Brain damage and neuroplasticity.
Communication and language and related diseases: dysarthria and aphasia
Localization and body awareness disorders: eminattention and hemisomatoagnosia
The prassies

The course includes 12 hours of lectures, all taught by the course teacher. At the request of the students, the teacher can dedicate the first part of each lesson to clarify and deepen the topics covered in previous lessons. It is also possible to ask for clarifications on specific points during the lesson.
