The paper (option A) and reports (options B and C) are assessed by the Degree Jury, based on the mark proposed by the supervisor, that announces the result in a public session. The overall assessment of the final exam is expressed in hundred-and-tenths. It is the result of the sum of the following elements: 1) weighted average of marks for the number of credits of the courses and related to 110; 2) 0.33 points for each distinction, added to the mark out of 110; 3) career speed points - recognition of 3 additional points counted towards the degree mark expressed out of 110; 4) bonus for deserving students - recognition of 1 additional point counted towards the degree mark expressed out of 110; 5) mark awarded for the final exam, according to the guidelines for the different types of thesis, as indicated below: – Method A: mark awarded from 0 (sufficient) to 4 (excellent); – Method B: mark awarded from 0 (sufficient) to 2 (excellent); – Method C: score assigned from 0 (sufficient) to 2 (excellent). Honours may be awarded unanimously by the Commission in consideration of the mastery of basic tools and concepts and the critical ability to apply the knowledge acquired. Honours cannot be requested if the average mark is less than 103/110.

Assessment of individual learning ability and completion of training in line with the objectives set out in the degree programme. More specifically, the final paper must demonstrate the achievement of the following learning objectives: 1. autonomy in planning and execution 2. thoroughness of analysis 3. logical and clear presentation 4. mastery of conceptual models 5. ability to critically interpret the issues analysed

There are three alternative option for the final exam: 1) optiion A: writing a paper (approximately 30 pages) on a topic related to the chosen course of study, agreed upon with the supervisor, who guides the student in the planning and writing of the thesis. The graduate must demonstrate a good command of the basic tools and concepts and a sufficient critical ability to apply the knowledge acquired during the course of study; 2) option B: writing a report on the internship carried out (approximately 10 pages). The report must illustrate the company situation in which the graduate carried out the internship and the contents of the internship itself, as well as the main links with the teachings of their course of study and the most relevant aspects of the business-professional environment in which the internship was carried out; 3) Option C: writing a report on the study abroad experience as part of the Erasmus+ Study programme (approximately 10 pages). The report must describe the experience and the related educational context.
