The student must demonstrate the detailed knowledge of the motivations that lead to this procedure, the contraindications and the necessary materials
Students will be provided with an empty grid to build the check-list first independently and then processed and discussed within the small group.
The observation phase is followed by the sequence of active realization of the check-list by the students with the supervision of the tutor, so that the student "cognitively internalize a certain skill". The judgment will be expressed as suitable or unsuitable.
At the end of the workshops the student must be able to know and be able to apply procedures with a professional content, before acting on the patient
-Use of the dam
- Sealing of pits
-Tools sharpening techniques
The initial part of the workshop will be dedicated to the training contract with the students, explaining the objectives described above.
The student is asked to observe the methodology object of the laboratory performed by an expert tutor.
Subsequently the student will have to describe the sequence of realization and repeat it.
This description should not be a sterile list of actions and behaviors but a careful analysis, appropriating all the phases that make up the observed process.
Teacher receives by appointment, upon request by e-mail (luca.levrini@uninsubria.it). The teacher only responds to e-mails signed by domain@studenti.uninsubria.it.
