Minimum requirement for passing the exam: preparation of an essay relating to the topics of the course.
An excellent exam result will be considered the preparation of a thesis relating to the topics of the course, knowledge of scientific language, research and in-depth analysis of the topics with the use of graphics, diagrams and images that demonstrate autonomy in using the topics of the course to understand issues and dynamics related to medical physics.
Provide students with the basic elements of physics, allowing them to acquire a rigorous scientific method and to apply this method to the study of the subjects they will face in the course of their studies. Teaching of the fundamental principles of physics and their implications in the medical field.
- Elements of mathematics (2 hours)
- Elements of the theory of motion (2 hours)
- Principles of dynamics and notions of epistemology (2 hours)
- Energy and work, blood circulation (2 hours)
- In-depth study of the principle of total and hydrostatic energy (2 hours)
- Hydrodynamics, viscous fluids such as blood (2 hours)
- Physiological applications of hydrodynamics and blood fluid (2 hours)
- Perfect gases and laws of thermodynamics (2 hours)
- Cell metabolism from the point of view of thermodynamics and chemistry (2 hours)
- Historical notes on electromagnetism and notes on nuclear physics for applications relating to clinical oncology, types of radiotherapy for the treatment of cancer (2 hours)
Distance or live frontal lessons. During the lessons the topics that will be the subject of the final essay will be addressed. Online presentation of specific topics and videos related to health sciences.
