Reading comprehension, finding the main idea and matrching main ideas with the paragraphs. Use of English: sentence transformation, tense choice, sentence completion (multiple choice). Vocabulary: word form choice (nouns, verbs, adjectives).
Use of English and vocabulary: Develop the ability to build compound sentences and to deal with different verbal tenses, to report events and understand written and oral texts. Acquire new lexicon related to medicine and health and academic words by using reinforcing techniques and by raising awarness in word formation.
Reading: Develop new reading techniques such as speed reading, reading for main ideas and reading for details.
Listening: Listening for main ideas and details.
Note taking and while listening
Use of English: past tenses, future tenses, relative clauses (reduced relative clauses).
