Oral exam
The teaching aims to:
- Provide students with the basics of ethics and deontology
- To analyze the code of ethics of the midwife and to compare it with the international code of ethics
- To deepen the themes of voluntary interruption of pregnancy, professional responsibility, informed consent, professional secrecy
- To stimulate the analysis and discussion of cases of bioethics
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- illustrate the process of evolution of ethics and professional ethics of midwifery and the professionalization of their figure
- analyze and compare the code of ethics of midwifery and the international code of ethics
- define the relationship between health professional and patient in terms of professional responsibility, informed consent and professional secrecy
