CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
The CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY course is structured in 10 lessons for a total of 20 hours concerning the mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic indications, adverse effects and interactions of the following classes of drugs:
-Anti-inflammatory drugs ;
- Drugs active in the nervous system (opioid analgesics, local and general anesthetics) ;
-Pharmacology that influence the cardiovascular system;
-Drugs that act on the blood ;
-Antibiotic chemotherapy;
- Drugs active on the gastrointestinal system ;
- Tocolytic and uterotonic drugs
Frontal lessons.
Classroom activities include the projection of ppt files set with images and schemes. During the lesson, examples of the use of drugs during pregnancy and in the post-natal period and current events regarding the various topics will be presented and students will be invited to interact with questions and curiosities.
