The final evaluation consist in an oral interview or in a written evaluation, or both, aimed to understand the student preparation on the topics of the course.

The main objective is the knowledge of the essential aspects of psychopathology, the classification of mental illnesses, clinical phenomenology, and the main practices for treatment with or without the patient's consent. Another objective is the knowledge of treatments without consent (A.S.O. and T.S.O). The normal/pathological relationship and the various psychopathological approaches (biological, phenomenological, psychodynamic, sociological, anthropological) imply different conceptions of illness. Provide the basic concepts necessary to manage the relationship with patients and an adequate process of diagnosis and treatment in various intervention areas. Finally, the distinction between psychosis and neurosis, which constitutes a fundamental point of orientation for clinical practice.
