PHARMACOLOGY
The CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY course is structured in 15 lessons for a total of 30 hours concerning the mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic indications, adverse effects and interactions of the following classes of drugs:
-Anti-inflammatory drugs;
- Drugs active in the central nervous system;
-Pharmacology of the autonomic nervous system;
-Pharmacology of the cardiovascular system;
-Antitumor Chemotherapy;
-Drugs that act on the blood;
-Antibiotic and antiviral chemotherapy;
- Drugs active on the gastrointestinal system.
Frontal lessons.
Classroom activities include the projection of ppt files set with images and schemes. During the lesson, examples of drug administration in clinical settings and current events regarding the various topics will be presented and students will be invited to interact with questions and curiosities.
