Oral test
The aim of the course is to bring the student to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of general surgery pathology
The course will deal with surgical diseases related to general surgery
Pathology of the esophagus: gastro-esophageal reflux disease and hiatal hernia, achalasia, esophageal diverticula, esophageal cancer.
The stomach: peptic ulcer and stomach cancer.
Colorectal pathology: diverticula, diverticulosis and diverticulitis, colon cancer, IBD, stoma
Breast: benign tumor and cancer
Pancreatic pathology: acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer.
Thyroid: goiter, adenoma and cancer
Liver pathology: benign and malignant tumors of the liver
Biliary tract: calculi of the biliar system, acute and chronic cholecystitis, jaundice.
Acute and chronic appendicitis
Abdominal wall: hernias
Othar arguments: postoperative management, patient in a Day Service, basics in laparoscopic and robotic surgery
