Variability: range, semi-range, variance and standard deviation. Variability coefficient. Symmetry. Variable transformations: log. Geometric mean. Box-plot.
Validity, accuracy and precision of measurements.
Accuracy: bias; sensitivity, specificity and ROC curve of a diagnostic test.
Precision: agreement among two different operators (Cohen’s K), reliability (variability coefficient, reliability coefficient, Bland-Altman plots).
