Head-Neck Radiology
To understand the topics, knowledges of CT and MRI techniques are required without however constraints
Oral exam for each student, evaluating the acquired knowledge, understanding and presentation of the teaching objectives
The course analyzes the anatomy, structure and topographical distribution of the constituent parts of the Head-Neck district, their pathological correlation ,the main techniques and methods of radiological exams. At the end of the course, students must be able to describe the region, the diagnostic techniques, their semeiotics and applications.
The lessons focus on anatomy, anatomical sites and sub-sites, dedicated radiological techniques, indications, study protocols and main pathologies of:
- Nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses;
- Suprahyoid region;
- Infra and subhyoid region;
- Neck Lymph node stations
lessons for a total of 12 hours, through PowerPoint presentations. During the course and the various topics covered, illustrative clinical and radiological examples will be provided
