Oral exam.
Evaluation of the oral exam is based on the following criteria: knowledge and understanding of the subject matter; logical organization of ideas; accuracy of language and overall effectiveness.
The objective of the course is to raise students’ awareness of legal values in western society and to enable students to use the comparative approach as useful analytical tool.
The main purpose of this course is to outline the structure and function of two paradigmatic criminal justice systems, focusing on both french and angloamerican systems.
The course also covers a large range of subjects in the new field of emerging European law.

The course will consist of 50 hours of lectures with plenty of opportunities for discussing in class the materials assigned. Students are strongly recommended to attend lectures regularly and participate actively in the discussion.
