The goal of the final exam is to verify the level of achievement of the training objectives.
The exam is divided into a written preliminary and an oral exam. The written preliminary consists of a series of quizzes and some exercises (function studies, solving simple differential equations, etc.), the purpose of which is to allow the student to self-evaluate and refine their preparation. This written preliminary is not evaluated for the purposes of the final grade.
The oral exam begins with a discussion of the written preliminary, which remains valid for subsequent exam sessions. To pass the exam it is necessary for the student to know how to discuss the theorems and fundamental concepts and to be able to carry out simple but significant exercises in relation to the theory

The course aims to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to study Calculus, allowing him to acquire a rigorous scientific method of reasoning and to apply this method to the study of the subjects that will be addressed in the course of his studies, to employ acquired knowledge and skills, with the development of application skills to solve problems. In particular, knowledge will be acquired relating to:
o Acquisition of theoretical and operational skills in the field of differential and integral calculus o The course aims to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to study Calculus, allowing him or her to acquire a rigorous scientific method of reasoning and to apply it to the study of the arguments that will be addressed in the course of studies. The student will be able to employ the acquired knowledge and skills to solve problems. In particular, knowledge will be acquired relating to:
o Acquisition of theoretical and operational skills in the field of differential and integral calculus
o Acquisition of the rudiments of Probability and Statistics o Acquisition of basic notions of Algebra

We suggest the use of a good high school text that also includes a chapter on Statistics and Probability.

The training objectives of the course will be achieved through lectures in the classroom supported by videoconferencing. Lessons are held on the overhead projector. They also include carrying out exercises that allow to illuminate the theory. The comparison in the classroom allows the student to make a self-assessment of their learning and, at the same time, the teacher to check the progress of the class's knowledge. At the beginning of the lessons, at the request of the students, the teacher will provide clarifications and insights on the topics covered in previous lessons. It will also be possible to ask for clarifications at any time during the lessons
