The course aims to provide knowledge of the main molecular diagnostic tests currently used in Anatomic Pathology lab for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of specific oncological diseases.

Introduction to molecular diagnostics in AP
Extraction of nucleic acids from fixed and paraffin-embedded tissues
Analysis of fragments using gel
electrophoresis or capillary electrophoresis
MLPA and MS-MLPA analysis
RT-PCR for gene mutation analysis
Gene mutation analysis using Sanger Sequencing
Gene mutation analysis with NGS
