Passing the 1st year Professional Training exam
At the end of the attendance period (end of the 2nd semester), the student must prepare a short report on the activity carried out in the attended laboratories. At the end of each academic year, the Internship Exam is scheduled which includes an oral exam with the Director of Professional Teaching Activities, in the presence of one or more Tutors, during which the student's report on the activity carried out will be considered, as well as the assessments made by each facility attended.
The student, using the contents learned during the classroom lessons and the skills gained during the internship period, always guided and in collaboration with the various laboratory figures, must acquire progressive autonomy and professional responsibility in carrying out the analytical procedures and in carrying out of the assigned tasks
At the end of the internship the student will be able to:
a) Participate personally in the activities in the operational context by demonstrating availability, initiative and sensitivity to team work.
b) Know the operating bases of the equipment used in the operating reality and the maintenance necessary for correct operation.
c) Know and carry out the pre-treatment of the samples as well as being able to identify the non-conformities of the same
d) Perform the various analytical methods, know the quality protocols for verifying the reliability of the analytical series and any appropriate correction interventions.
e) Being able to evaluate the analytical reliability of the results and discuss their clinical validity, in collaboration with the laboratory's managerial staff
Follow the activity of the laboratory to which it was addressed for the scheduled hours
