There will be checks on the understanding of the topics covered through oral tests
The teaching activity aims at building organizational knowledge and skills, deepening management issues and analyzing the tools necessary to carry out a professional activity oriented within health organizations.
The main objective of the teaching is to provide a solid preparation to allow understanding of organizations and contribute to the management of nursing care aimed at achieving organizational goals through:
- the promotion of respect and trust among the members of the working group
- knowledge and respect for the different levels of responsibility and competence of the various professionals and operators who provide care and assistance to people and the community
- reflection on the implications of an ethical nature connected with responsibility during the exercise of one's profession.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
1. Distinguish the main organizational models of health care and nursing in order to use their personal and professional resources to ensure quality care.
2. Contribute to the management of clinical risk to create and maintain a safe environment for the person, the family, the community, themselves and the other members of the work group.
- The organization of healthcare companies: the model for intensity of care and care complexity
- From approaches to care models (primary nursing, functional nursing, team nursing, case management)
- Resource management in nursing care and identification of care priorities.
- The organization of one's own activity and that of the support assistance figures.
- Intra-professional and multidisciplinary cooperation
- The community nursè: (the family nurse, the pharmacy nurse, the public health nurse)
- Clinical risk management and tools to identify the main risks involving nursing.
