RADIOPROTEZIONE
The course joins three different items with the purpose of give complementary information not directly related to the profession of nurse but useful to the best approach to the patient.

RADIOPROTEZIONE
Sources of ionizing radiations used in medicine. Biological effects of radiations. Physical quantities related to damage caused by ionizing radiations. Radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Main modalities of diagnostic imaging with ionizing and non ionizing radiations. Instrumentations for measuring radiation. Problems of radioprotection in diagnostic and therapeutic use of ionizing and non ionizing radiation. Radioprotection practice in medicine.
