The final exam will consist of a written test, an interview with the teacher and a listening to the assessment of the language skills acquired. Evaluation and assignment of final mark in thirtieths.

**Due the actual COVID19 situation any modification to the exam method will be announced later on

The Japanese course 1 reaches about half the level needed to achieve the JF standard A1.

The course is aimed at those who approach the Japanese language for the first time and provides basic language skills as well useful to evenctually carry on the study of Japanese language by their own.

Learning Hiragana and Katakana syllabaries and be able at least to write them by a computer keyboard.

In the first and the second lessons we will study the alphabets Hiragana and Katakana with extreme attention to the writing method (the alphabets learning will improve throughout the whole course by short dictations).
All the topics will be deepened by listening to dialogues, conversations and grammar exercises.
Main topics will be:
-introductions and greetings
-excange of simple personal informations (family, hobbies, food preferences, the own house, daily conversation)
-simple expressions of daily conversation

Frontal lectures (online) with exercise activity and use of pre-recorded videos*
The program promotes the learning of the Japanese language through Active Learning, a methodology focused on listening and on the immediate acquisition of basic linguistic automatisms throughout imitation, repetition and associative memorization techniques.
Attending classes will be essential and will be taken into consideration.

*It is very important that the students would watch and study the pre-recorded videos that will be published on the e-learning platform few days before each lesson prior the frontal lesson.

The teacher receives the students after contact by e-mail.
