The student will have to show their achievement in knowledge and skills of the subject in one of the following ways:
• Either they can send a certificate to the Student Administration Office in order to prove the successful completion of a level exam ≥ B 2. This certificate must have been passed no more than 5 calendar years before (with the exception of the IGCSE, IELTS and TOEFL certifications that, instead, have a validity of 2 solar years only). In addition to the presentation of this certificate, the student will also have to take a supplementary interview with the professor of the course in order to evaluate the possession of the technical terminology in engineering field.
• Or they can pass the exam scheduled at the end of the course, which consists of a written test of understanding and elaboration of a scientific text.

Assessment: 
Giudizio Finale

The objective of the course is to provide the student with an advanced knowledge of the technical language necessary for understanding and writing technical documents in the engineering sector.
This course is based on understanding and writing academic articles. During the course, students will learn to manage the content of a research project and to write an article about it.

The course will be based on the analysis of scientific articles and sector texts, which will be provided by the teacher.

Scientific articles and field texts will be provided by the teacher directly and will be available for students on the E-Learning platform.
