The final assessment is based on the evaluation of the student’s participation in class discussions and assignments (both individual and group). Student’s evaluation will be based on the quality and quantity of class participation in business cases and article discussions as well as on a written assignment where he/she will be required to analyze (individually and/or as part of a group) an assigned business case.
Tailor-made work assignments will be assigned by the teacher to students who are not able to attend the class.

This course will focus on current issues central to the management of technological and entrepreneurial innovation. Specific topics will be addressed based on the background of the Visiting Professor.

Course objectives involve students achieving some advanced learning outcomes, i.e.:
- A thorough knowledge of what innovation is and why it is critical to an organization’s success.
- Examples of how today's entrepreneurs use continuous innovation to create radically successful business with specific focus on high-tech products and markets.
- An understanding of how to introduce innovative (high-tech) product/services/business model into the market.

At the end of the course students have to prove they have learned the core theories presented and the appropriate terminology used in the field of study of entrepreneurship and innovation management in high-tech companies. Students have to prove that they can manage the concepts and the tools presented in class.

This course will provide background on innovation management with special focus on practices necessary to stimulate and manage innovation in a business.
