The exam consists in an oral exam aiming to define the knowledge and comprehension (20%), application skills of theory (25%), autonomous judgement (20%), communication skills (15%) and learning ability (20%).
About History of medicine, the purpose of course is to encourage students to a critical reading of the cultural and historical medicine.
This purpose will be achieved by providing food for thought on some fundamental issues for several specialized areas of medicine.
About Anthropology, the course objective is learning to read “other” cultures, looking for the sense of existence, life and disease in the context in which phenomena occur. The goal is to “decentralize” our gaze, re-discovering ourselves in the other’s eyes.
