A good general knowledge acquired by the media and literary texts.

Final Examination:

The exam consists in an exam aiming to define the knowledge and comprehension (20%), application skills of theory (25%), autonomous judgement (20%), communication skills (15%) and learning ability (20%). The mark is expressed in thirtieths.
Each discipline examination has to be passed, to get a positive result in the whole Integrated Course.
The Commissione will eventually propose the average marks.

BIOETHICS
A written multiple choice test (10/20 questions about the whole course-contents) is eventually submitted. The test shows the reached level of theoretical knowledge, of ethics-applying skills and of other competences in medical humanities.

The Course tries to promote the competence of the students in some medical humanities. In details:

BIOETHICS.
Training the students for a coherent ethical reasoning in biomedical contexts of research, practice and work; fostering the personal skills in perceiving a moral dilemma, in justifying an individual evaluation and in dealing with a disagreement inside the staff; implementing the competences in narrative ethics.

GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY:
Providing the theoretical basis of psychology for professional practice

LEGAL MEDICINE:
The course objective is to make the student conscious of the importance of the medical/legal relationship between health professional and patient.

HISTORY of MEDICINE:
to provide students with educational tools useful for understanding the History of Medicine
