HISTOLOGY
basic knowledge of biology are needed, chemistry, histology, anatomy already acquired during high school 2nd grade.
The student will initially have to face a written assessment of the skills included and acquired related to the topics related to the course program.
The test consists of 30 multiple choice questions, to be solved in 30 minutes. The questions will be related to the program of IC teaching (Cytology, Histology, Embryology and bases of organogenesis), to define the degree of knowledge (30%), the ability to apply knowledge and understanding (35%) and the ability to learn ( 35%) in relation to the course program.
To be eligible to take the oral exam, you must have correctly answered at least 20 questions. Eligibility is considered valid only for admission to the oral examination of the same appeal.
The oral test consists of questions related to the program of IC teachings (Cytology, Histology, Embryology and bases of organogenesis), to define the comprehension capacity (20%), the ability to apply knowledge and understanding (20%), the autonomy of judgment (20%), learning ability (20%) and communication skills (20%). The oral exam also includes the reading and commentary of a histological preparation with a description of the observed microscopic field up to the definition of the tissue.
The course program includes the theoretical and practical bases to identify the subcellular tissues, cells and structures, in their structural and ultrastructural characteristics. Identify and describe the structures involved in the mechanisms of cell differentiation, histogenesis, embryogenesis and the bases of organogenesis.
Single final mark out of thirty for the C.I.
The student must be able to identify the tissues, cells and subcellular structures, a description of microscopic and ultrastructural characteristics and discuss the functional aspects more directly associated with specific morphological organization. With the study of gametogenesis, fertilization and early embryonic development, the student must be able to describe the changes which hinder the slips up to the list of primitive tissues of the organs that are derived
