CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY 2
None.
In order to better understand the topics of this course it is however suggested that the student possesses the knowledge offered by the course of General Psychology (C.I. Human Sciences 1, I year).
1. The aims of the course is to provide students with theoretical notions necessary to apply the basic concepts of clinical, social and health psychology to nursing practice and to manage relationship with patients and their families also in specific situations and contexts of nursing practice (children, old people, death, grief, stress and trauma).
2. Another target is to provide students theoretical foundations to understand stressful situations, to cope with professional stress and to prevent burnout.
The Integrated Course consists of two parts: Clinical Psychology 1 (20 hours) in the first semester and Clinical Psychology 2 (14 hours) in the second semester. The two parties represent a continuum of arguments that integrate with each other in building knowledge and are therefore dealt with by the same teacher.
