At the end of the course the student must be familiar with the most frequent infectious diseases and on the epidemiology and prevention of health care associated infections
Occupational risks and prevention rules; post-exposure prophylaxis; health care associated infections; epidemiology, clinical manifestations and treatment of HIV; gastrointestinal infections; viral hepatitis: HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV, HEV; infections of the uro-genital tract; infections of the central nervous system: meningitis; vertically transmitted diseases: CMV, Toxoplasmosis, HSV-1 and HSV-2, Rubella, HIV; travel diseases: malaria and amebiasis. Scabies and pediculosis.
