Basic environmental chemistry (8 h):
chemical processes in the environment
pollutant classes and their trasport in the environment
bioaccumulation and biomagnification.

Speciation and speciation analysis (4 h):
speciation and fractionation: isotopic composition, oxidation state, covalently bound sostituents
analytical methods for speciation analysis.

Sampling and sample treatment methods (8 h):
sampling schemes
sampling methods for solids, liquids, gases and aerosols
sample stabilization and treatment prior to analysis.

In situ and on line measurements (2 h):
in situ analytical methods and environmental monitoring.

Standard analytical methods in environmental analysis (2 h):
standardisation of analytical methods
international standards
quality control and quality assurance.
