The Course provides information and psychological tecniques in order to:
1. manage an effective communication and a good relationship in dental patient care;
2. recognize and manage psychological issues in dental patient care.

GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
Psychology in Dentistry. Dentist-patient relationship (adult and child). Communication skills and Counselling for Dentists. Smoking cessation interventions for dental patient. The determinants of dental health attitudes and behaviours. Managing dental anxiety and phobia. The relationship with HIV patient. Psycho-oncology in dental care. Psychosomatics in Dentistry.
