The exam is written and consists of 2 parts: the first is aimed at establishing the knowledge of English grammar through 7 exercises for a total of 48 questions in the form of multiple choice, sentence transformation, error correction, choice of tenses. The second part focuses on the use of the basic vocabulary related to the field of dentistry through 18 multiple choice questions.
Provide students with grammatical and linguistic skills that allow them to read, understand and translate scientific texts related to the language of dentistry corresponding to B1 level.
Grammar:
Verb tenses: simple present, progressive - past-future - countable and uncountable nouns - the article - modal verbs - active and passive form - relative clauses.
Vocabulary
Dentistry and its main disciplines - the dental practice and its instruments - the anatomy of the human tooth - the dentition - prostheses and orthodontic appliances.

Frontal lessons (36 hours in total) - explanation of grammatical rules with related exercises - listening (CDs and online videos) and reading exercises- translation of introductory texts presenting the vocabulary of dentistry.
