CHEMISTRY AND PROPEDEUTIC BIOCHEMISTRY
Minimum knowledge of elements, periodic table, acids and bases, carbon chemistry, chemical reactions.
Knowledge of atoms, molecules and matter, chemical reactions and molecules of the biochemical base. At the end of the course the student must be able to solve problems concerning the balance of reaction, pH, redox and preparation of solutions.
Structure of the atom, chemical bond, solutions, chemical reactions and chemical equilibrium, pH, hydrocarbons, alcohols and their derivatives, aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids and their derivatives, amines, isomers, carbohydrates, aminoacids and lipids.
