Oral exam with 3 open and discourse questions that should be argued based on the knowledge developed in the classroom and with the suggested text.
The vote in 30 will depend on the knowledge, but also on the student's ability to exhibit. Two-thirty points will be taken into account in class attendance and class attendance. Lode will be given for particular knowledge and brilliant skills during the exposition.
The course aims to provide students with the tools for understanding the European Union law applicable to the company and the relevant European policies for the activities of the industrial and business sector. The objectives of the course are: knowledge of European institutions, EU acts, mainstream European policies.
- The first four lessons will be devoted to the analysis of the main European institutional subjects: European Council, Council of the Union, European Parliament, European Commission, Court of Justice, European Central Bank and Court of Auditors. The institutional competences and their role in European architecture will be highlighted, as well as the fundamental principles of the Union which are based on it.
- The fifth lesson will present Union acts and legislative procedures for their adoption.
- The sixth lesson will be dedicated to the internal market. The four fundamental freedoms (free movement of goods, capital, persons and services) will be introduced as productive factors for the enterprise.
- The seventh lesson will analyze the Union's regional policy and the theme of European funding.
- The eighth and ninth lessons will be dedicated to the deepening of competition policy
- The tenth lesson will deepen the infringement procedures
- The eleventh lesson will deal with the common commercial policy. Starting from the analysis of international actors (WTO, EU etc.) and their impact on the functioning of the company, the evolution of the common market will be explored until the creation of the single market and economic integration, as well as the position of the Union. in the international context.
- The twelfth lesson will provide elements on the European neighborhood policy and external relations of the Union, including mixed agreements signed by the Union.
- The thirteenth lesson will focus on the protection of personal data and civil judicial cooperation.
- The fourteenth lesson will conclude the analysis with the policies of judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
