Television and crossmedia languages
Basic knowledge of the Italian history and literature of the XX century, besides a basic knowledge of the history of the media. Further insights will be provided during the lessons and during the preparation phase of the exam.
Final oral exam consists in a single test. The final vote will be determined by the degree of acquisition of the expected knowledge and skills, taking into account the communicative ability of the candidate related to an appropriate language, the knowledge of the subject matter, the ability of synthesis and analysis, and the ability to historically contextualize the topics discussed.
The course aims to provide the cognitive tools to learn the notions that are necessary to understand both the organization of an audiovisual event and the experience of the journalistic-information popularisation of events through traditional communication (press office) and online communication. At the end of the course the student is expected to have the following skills:
- the ability to place an audiovisual event within its socio-cultural system
- ability to evaluate the audiovisual event
- the ability to include the audiovisual event in the journalist-information disclosure system.
The course is based on a series of historical, critical and semiotic reflections, with precise textual references, stimulating the students to refine a competent ability to analyse creativity and international audiovisual production and present on the web, as well as the dynamics of mass media society, with particular reference to digital media and cross-media.

The training objectives of the course will be achieved through frontal lessons for a total of 48 hours. The teacher will lead the students to reflections and analyses in a group discussion.
